Experienced teacher and member of Itchy Fingers Textiles Group, local textile
artist Enid Davies will be leading this inspirational workshop. You will be
encouraged to branch out into using mixed media in the form of wood or its
offshoots. You will experiment with a variety of methods to incorporate wooden items
into a fabric and thread sample that can be used as a small panel or container,
or just sampling techniques.

This workshop is suitable for beginners or
experienced stitchers alike, and you can use either machine or hand stitch, or
both.
To get the most out of this workshop it will be
useful if you have a few ideas for a theme or colour scheme you wish to work
with. A good starting point may be a
particular image or postcard that appeals to you, or you may like to just
select a nice mix of colour from your stash that work well together. If you are
working on a particular theme, this will help you decide on the most
appropriate colours scheme and images for stamping/printing to use.
